Stout Street Social is taking a chance on Downtown Denver. The new restaurant and bar that just opened at 1400 Stout Street, across from the Convention Center, aims to serve as a gathering place for locals, Downtown business professionals, as well as out-of-towners and convention-goers.
The menu is organized around what Stout Street calls "social food." An oyster and raw bar brings options like daily oysters, hamachi crudo, smoked mussels, and marinated shrimp cocktails. The snacks include tempting deviled eggs, kimchi fries, and crispy Brussels sprouts, among others. Seven dishes, including smoked chicken wings and Thai calamari, are served as small plates. There are seven salads on the menu, some big, and some small; sandwiches and burgers; and entrees like the hand-cut Fillet Mignon and grilled Scottish salmon. Several sides are also an option for guests.
And because gatherings with friends or colleagues are better with a glass of cold beer in-hanf, Stout Street Social offers more than 40 beers on draft. Fear not, wine lovers: There are more than 40 wines offered by the glass, plus classically-inspired cocktails.

Stout Street Social will offers lunch and a social-happy hour on weekdays and dinner seven days a week. Brunch will be added at a later time.
