On January 9, chef Jennifer Jasinski will close her flagship restaurant in Larimer Square, Rioja, for a serious makeover.

Jasinski and her business partner Beth Gruitch are working with Boss Architecture on the project. The local design firm recently created the space at their Union Station restaurant, Stoic & Genuine. The plan at the decade old Rioja to give the dining room and bar a full and complete remodel. There will be new wall and floor coverings, new furniture and banquette and booth configurations, as well as different wine storage. The bar and kitchen areas will remain in the same spots.

Fingers crossed that the timing on construction goes according to plan: Rioja hopes to unveil its new digs on Monday, February 2.
