On February 21, South Broadway will welcome La Cour, a Parisian inspired art bar and bistro, to the neighborhood. The new gallery-bistro hybrid is owned by the Monley family, who live in Denver and in France. La Cour will feature their beloved French recipes, pairings of wines, craft spirits, beers and an assortment of delicacies.

La Cour is located at 1643 South Broadway, in a bright blue brick building built in 1892. The opening event on Friday the 21st will include charcoal and pencil drawings by 88-year-old Cynthia Monley.

La Cour plans to feature regularly rotating art from French and Colorado artists. Patrons will be able to casually appreciate both the artwork and the delectable foods and drinks that will be served in the bistro setting that has been designed to inspire conversation. The owners plan to add a fireplace and an outdoor patio that will open in the spring.

La Cour's menu includes fine imported and local cured meats and cheeses, French breads, house-made dips, Parisian-inspired tartines, a selection of quiches and desserts. The cocktail menu is highlighted by affordable French wines, craft spirits, and beers from Colorado and beyond.
