From Colorado Springs to Boulder: Brews, Donuts, and Bingo For the Weekend

COLORADO SPRINGS— At the 10th annual Firkin Rendez-Vous, hosted by Bristol Brewing Company in its fermentation room, 33 Colorado breweries will come together to share cask-conditioned ales. The event on Saturday, February 22 at 1 p.m. will benefit the Colorado Brewers Guild. General admission tickets cost $35 and include beer, food and a souvenir tasting glass. HIGHLANDS — Bang! Restaurant on West 32nd Avenue is serving coffee and donuts out of its front door beginning at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. Facebook has the rest of the details, and some teaser photos.

LODO — Every Sunday at the Squeaky Bean, a brunch menu curated by chef Theo Adley is served, including classics like Benedict, prepared with either lox or bacon or vegetarian or a Pork Belly Hash that comes with hatch chile, delicate squash, and poached egg. While brunch service starts at 10 a.m., from 1 to 3 p.m. there's an extra reason to join the LoDo restaurant: Bingo! The game is hosted each week by a different stand up comedian and yes, there are prizes.

BOULDER— West Flanders Brewing recently launched a Sunday brunch that highlights chef Tony Hessel's mix of beer-infusion cocktails. The menu features staples like eggs Benedict and pastries, as well as burgers and flatbreads. Brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Sunday. Click here for more information.

FORT COLLINS— Beer fanatics now have more opportunities to visit New Belgium Brewing, with the brewery announcing it's now open on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors can also take advantage of an increase in the number of the notoriously popular tours offered through the week. The free tours now begin at 11:30 a.m. and leave every half hour until 4:30 p.m. Click here for reservations.
