Throwback Thursday? A Boy and His Pig

Chef Justin Brunson of Old Major and Masterpiece Deli was born and raised to an Iowan farming family. His love for the swine goes back to his childhood and his unadulterated passion for it manifests itself in more than one way. He started a bacon company- the Denver Bacon Company, he features less-common items like the pork burger at Old Major, and he is one of the five top Denver chefs to participate in this year's Cochon 555. Eerie resemblance aside, the photo above is not of Brunson. It is, however, his most recent Facebook profile photo.
