The Baker neighborhood welcomed Gozo to its restaurant family over the weekend. Gozo is a Castilian word for joy. The new eatery will open to the public this coming Friday, March 7.
Executive chef Nick Petrilli, who comes to Colorado from Napa Valley, takes a "rustic," or simple, approach to the menu, with a focus on wood-fired, local ingredients. Gozo owners Dominic Valenti and Frank Jolley designed the restaurant's space and menu inspired by time spent in Italy and Spain.
Dinner at Gozo is served nightly at 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. Lunch service will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning at 11 a.m., and then seven days a week beginning in the spring. Stay up-to-date on Gozo's Facebook page.
