L'Ecole No. 41 Winery Dinner at EDGE; Meet the Maker at La Biblioteca; More

RIVERFRONT PARK— The upcoming "meet the maker" event at La Biblioteca on Thursday, March 6 will feature El Tesoro, beginning at 6 p.m. At the event, which occurs on the first Thursday of the month, guests have the opportunity to meet tequila makers, enjoy tastings and learn more about tequila, mezcal and sotol, all for $5. BOULDERWest Flanders Brewing lost a Super Bowl bet, and as a result it will soon welcome a brewer from Seattle-based Elysian to create a payback batch of a beer called Boom! IPA. The brew will go on tap Thursday, March 6 at 5 p.m., with a Seahawks flag flying at West Flanders. [Eaterwire]

GLENDALELive Basil Pizza, which arrived on the pizza scene last year as a fast-casual concept from the owners of Smashburger, recently revealed a "Chef's Pick" pizza selection. The idea behind it is to promote locally sourced ingredients, with the first showcasing organic cremini, button, oyster and cinnamon cap mushrooms from Hazel Dell Farms in Fort Collins.
