Meet the Maker; Free Ice Cream; Men Who Can Cook

LOHI— The upcoming "meet the maker" event at La Biblioteca on Thursday, April 3 will feature Patron, beginning at 6 p.m. At the event, which occurs on the first Thursday of the month, guests have the opportunity to meet tequila makers, enjoy tastings and learn more about tequila, mezcal and sotol, all for $5. LODO— To celebrate its reopening day on Friday, April 4, Peteybird will be giving away 1,000 of its ice cream sandwiches before the Rockies Opening Day baseball game. Look out for the custom pink ice cream bikes that will roam the streets of Lower Downtown from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Clues to the bikes' locations will also be broadcast through social media. GOLDEN TRIANGLE— The St. John's School and Early Learning Center will host a tasting event, called Men Who Cook, on Saturday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Gather/Galvanize. Tasting stations will feature chefs like Simon Purvis of EDGE at the Four Seasons Denver and Jordan Bamesberger of Saucy Noodle Ristorante. Tickets cost $40 or $75 for two and can be purchased here.
