City Bakery Cafe Is Now Open In the Golden Triangle

New, 1 comment

Today is the grand opening of City Bakery Café, a casual breakfast and lunch joint brainchild of Michael Bortz, the master baker behind City Bakery. Bortz took over the former Lenny's Sub Shop located at 726 Lincoln Street in the Golden Triangle.

What's on the menu? Breakfast items like egg sandwiches and steal cut oatmeal served until 10:30 a.m.-- along with pastries made by City Bakery. At lunch, there are soups, a selection of salads, as well as sandwiches and panini. A highlight is the East Coast Classic, a combination of salami, ham, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion served on a semi-baguette.

City Bakery Café serves breakfast and lunch six days a week from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Breads and other items from City Bakery are available to go.
