The Denver Tea Room & Coffee Salon (formerly The Denver Tea Room) is moving to a larger space at 1165 South Broadway. The new space, soft-opening during Mother's Day weekend, features an expanded menu and can now accommodate walk-ins as well as larger groups. Sisters Margo Seymour and Arlene Guillen previously ran the intimate, four-table establishment at 1820 E. Colfax Avenue in the front room of a 19th-century mansion-turned-bed and breakfast.

The custom build-out of the new space will feature two tea rooms and an expanded menu, including seasonal sandwiches and desserts. The new establishment will continue to host holiday high tea and smaller tea parties, as well as showers, book clubs and other gatherings in the tea rooms, which are available by reservation Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

And in light of the amended name, a newly added coffee salon will be serving Dazbog Coffee as well as to-go items, breakfast burritos, and a lunch menu. The coffee salon will be open 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
