CHERRY CREEK— On Thursday, April 24 Second Home Kitchen + Bar will host Eat Local, Drink Local at 6 p.m. The event will feature advanced sommelier Kendra Anderson, aka Swirl Girl Denver, as she discusses what it means to drink local. Guests will have the chance to sample four wines from Colorado's top producers along with seasonal bites highlighting locally sourced ingredients. UNIVERSITY HILLSArapahoe County B-Cycle is hosting its inaugural fundraising event, For the Love of Bicycling, on Thursday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wellshire Inn. Guests will enjoy a meal with the main course provided by chef Hosea Rosenberg, the winner of Top Chef season 5. BOULDER— As of mid-April, peteybird ice cream sandwiches are available in select Denver metro grocers and specialty markets.
