If August seems to far away to wait for a bowl of ramen made by Jeff Osaka, put May 2 on your calendar. The chef, who recently announced his upcoming ramen shop, will host the Osaka Ramen pop up at the Berkeley Supply Company starting at 7 p.m. on that Friday. There are some important details: ONLY 100 bowls of ramen will be sold for a mere $5 a bowl. The only option is the Tonkotsu Ramen, a specialty at the upcoming ramen shop. 100% of the proceeds will go to Project Angel Heart.
Along with the ramen pop-up, Berkeley Supply Company (located at 4405 West 43rd Avenue) is hosting a Filson Clothing, Basil Hayden trunk show. The clothing store, which is owned and operated by a former employee of twelve restaurant Eli Cox, specializes exclusively in American made men's clothing.
