What: A special dinner prepared by 17 of Denver's females chefs, complete with silent- auction items, all to support Work Options for Women.

NEW BREW FESTIVAL
When: Saturday, May 10
Where: Whistlestop Park, Niwot
What: Sample 70+ craft beers and ciders from 26 new breweries, all less than 5 years old in and around Boulder County at this New Craft Beer Festival.

Participants will receive a commemorative keepsake sampling glass, program guide, and sampling access to breweries for 4 hours. GRAND SAKE TASTING

What: Sample more than 25 kinds of sake while enjoying five hors d'oeuvres stations that will feature a variety of dishes. Toshi Kizaki, one of the owners of Izakaya Den and Sushi Den will explain the process of making sake and how to pair the traditional Japanese spirit.

FLAVORS OF DENVER

Where: Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum
What: Over twenty acclaimed local chefs, including Tom Coohill of Coohills, Mary Nguyen of Parallel 17 and Simon Purvis of EDGE, will cook a meal tableside, paired with wine and craft cocktails.

SECOND DENVER FIVE DINNER
When: Monday, May 19 at 6 p.m.

What: The second of this year's Denver FIVE dinners featuring a five-course menu executed by the five kickass women chefs that make up this year's class: Elise Wiggins, executive chef of Panzano, Aniedra Nichols, executive chef of Elway's Cherry Creek, Carrie Shore, executive chef of Table 6, Nadine Donovan, pastry chef at Old Major, and Jenna Johansen, innovation chef at Epicurean Catering.

2ND ANNUAL TOQUES & 'TAILS

Where: Casselman's, 2620 Walnut Street
What: A chef and bartender competition to benefit Share Our Strength, featuring eight of Denver's best food and cocktail focused restaurants.
More info, tickets, reservations: Competing chefs include Justin Brunson of Old Major, Troy Guard of TAG, and Alex Figura of Lower 48. All of the judges are from out of state and are well-accomplished in their respective fields. Attendees also vote in the competition. What: A full weekend packed full of delicious culinary experiences and Vail adventure. Renowned Vail chefs will collaborate and compete with prominent guest chefs, like Paul Reilly of beast +bottle and Frank Bonanno.

PINK PATIO PARTY

Where: Elway's Cherry Creek, 2500 East 1st
What: At this 4th annual party, the restaurant will be sampling more than 30 rosé wines from all over the world. France, Italy, Austria, Spain and the United States. Attendees will help Elway's sommelier Adam Vance pick the 3 wines for the rosé flight on the Elway's Cherry Creek wine list.
