Have you missed your favorite food truck during the winter months? Are you ready to take a break from your office and enjoy lunch in the sun? Civic Center EATS Outdoor Cafe is back on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting today through October 9, 2014 (excluding June 5, July 3, August 28 and September 2) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The ninth annual Civic Center EATS presented by the Civic Center Conservancy provides locals and visitors an opportunity to experience a delicious outdoor lunch, live music and beautiful scenery twice a week during the summer months.
For over a century, the vision for Civic Center Park has been to bring together government, culture, commerce and community in one area. Civic Center Conservancy, along with Hobnob Events, organizes Civic Center Eats by bringing some of Denver's best food trucks together in one spot. These events wouldn't be possible without support from generous sponsors. The food trucks also donate a portion of their proceeds to support the Civic Center Park revitalization efforts.
Many of Denver's most popular food trucks, such as Manna From Heaven to N.Z's Smokin' Guns, are part of the lineup. Make sure to check out which trucks will be in attendance before you head down for lunch each Tuesday of Thursday. Other food truck favorites that should not be missed are Crock Spot and Street Eats as well as a few of Denver's brick and mortar stables such as Sweet Cow MooMobile and Pinche Tacos. Guests will be able to enjoy live music while digging into a large variety of lunch options on the provided shaded tables.
