New Menu at Ace, Oregon Wine Tonight; Special Dinners

DOWNTOWN— On Thursday, May 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Fine Arts Foundation is hosting Fine Wines Of Oregon, an Oregon wine tasting at the Sheraton Denver Downtown hotel. Twelve wineries from Oregon's Willamette Valley will be featured, as well as appetizers, live music and a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit cultural arts in Colorado. UPTOWNACE has rolled out its new spring menu with close to 20 new and revised items. BRECKENRIDGE— The inaugural Breckenridge Wine Extravaganza takes place on Memorial Day weekend at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge. The festival kicks off on Friday, May 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with two winemaker dinners featuring Colorado-sourced food Garfield Estates Winery and Avanti Winery, followed by a chocolate and wine pairing from 7 to 9:30 p.m. A grand tasting and wine seminars follow on Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m., while Sunday features a winemakers brunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Breckenridge Mountain Rotary Club.
