Freedom Memorial Ale Release; Feast!; Heroes Brunch

AURORADry Dock Brewing Company is releasing the 2014 edition of the Colorado Freedom Memorial Blonde Ale for Memorial Day. The brewery received special permission from the federal government to use the American flag for the beer's label, and will donate $1 from every bottle sold to the Colorado Freedom Memorial Fund. VAIL— Starting today and lasting through Monday, May 26, Feast! Vail will provide a weekend packed full of culinary experiences. Renowned Vail chefs will collaborate and compete with prominent guest chefs, like Paul Reilly of Beast + Bottle, and Frank Bonanno. Chefs will also be joined by wine masters, cocktail artisans and craft beer pros for adventures from the kitchen table to the mountain trail. Ticket prices range from $25 to $75 depending on the event and can be purchased here.

CITY PARKThe Denver Flea will debut on Saturday, May 24 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in City Park. The first-year event, described as "equal parts treasure hunt, high-end shopping experience, carnival and beer fest," will feature more than 60 Colorado-based vendors. In addition to wares like clothing, art, vintage items and repurposed furniture, four craft beer stations will offer selections from Our Mutual Friend and Wynkoop Brewing. The event will also feature local food trucks, including Baba's Falafel, PeteyBird and a new meatball concept from Hey PB&J. Admission to the event is free, and those who register before May 23 will receive a free craft beer or locally roasted coffee upon entrance. For more information and to register go to Denver Flea.

UPTOWN— Join Jonesy's EatBar on Sunday, May 25 at 4 p.m. for its fifth annual Memorial Sunday BBQ. The cookout will include brats, burgers and beer specials for $5. Guests will also enjoy live music from Jonny Barber at 6 p.m.

A-BASIN— The 13th annual Festival of the Brewpubs will be Sunday, May 25 from noon to 4 p.m. Spend the day sampling beers from 12 Summit County and Colorado breweries like Dillon Dam, AC Golden and Twisted Pine. "High-octane" bluegrass group White Water Ramble will perform from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets cost $25, which includes a mug and unlimited tastings, and can be purchased here.

LODO— To celebrate Memorial Day, Tamayo will be hosting a bottomless Heroes Brunch on Monday, May 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The meal includes unlimited small plates and brunch cocktails for $35.
