Oskar Blues and Comida May Land At Boulder Armory

As plans move forward in the redevelopment of the Armory in North Boulder, there's growing interest from potential tenants for the space. Oskar Blues Brewery and Comida Cantina have both thrown their hats in the ring as possible occupants, according to a Facebook post.

The Armory was originally used by the Colorado National Guard as a training site and storage depot, and now developers are in the planning stages to create a mixed-use community, including homes, apartments, retail and community areas.

The potential Oskar Blues site would be located in the historic Armory building, serving as an anchor to the project. The format would be a brewpub similar to the locations in Lyons and Longmont.

Comida is looking to add a cantina venue to the mix, which serves Mexican street food. In addition to the original food truck, Comida has cantina locations in Longmont and at the Source in RiNo. There's also a husband and wife team that is interested in opening a general store in the development.
