It was great while it lasted: Corrected Coffee will serve its last caffeinated boozy drink on Friday, May 30. In late February, Basta, the Boulder wood-fired eatery located in the Peloton, launched a pop-up that featured coffee drinks, pastries, and the unusual caffè corretto, an Italian beverage made up of a shot of espresso with a a small amount of liquor, usually grappa. That morning offering has come to an end.
"I was thrilled that an unknown concept in Basta, under a different name, could receieve a three star review from the Daily Camera and a "hottest coffee places" from Eater," said owner Kelly Whitaker. "We as a group will always be looking for ways to break the mold of traditional hospitality. I am very excited about the potential we see in the Basta space for more services," he added.
