The Bitter Bar Is Now Pouring Blue Velvet

On Friday night, the Bitter Bar reopened with a new format under sole ownership of longtime bartender James Lee. In a speakeasy-meet-neighborhood-bar format, Lee stripped the formalities - no reservations, formal seating, or dinner menu- and lowered the prices of his craft cocktails to $8 or $9. House-made sodas and cocktails on tap - the Blue Velvet included are among the highlights of the Bitter Bar 2.0.
