Vegans Rejoice: Native Foods To Open Multiple Locations

Native Foods Café, the 20 year old plant-based fast-casual chain that got its start in California, will open its second Denver location in University Park at 2023 South Colorado Boulevard on May 27. Two more storefronts are in the works, one on the 16th Street Mall at 500 16th Street and another in Lakewood at the Promenade at Denver West, 14650 West Colfax Avenue.

The popular vegan eatery serves from scratch chef-crafted dishes all priced under $10 and served in under 10 minutes. The menu changes seasonally.

"We're looking forward to feeding students and the University Park community fun, delicious food," said Native Foods Café's Andrea McGinty who, with husband Daniel Dolan, owns the company. "Our Super Italian Meatball Sub and Greek Gyro Bowl are huge hits with the students. We're ready to keep serving up more of what they already love at our new location," she added.

Other favorites on the menu at the eatery include the native nachos, portobello and sausage burger, and Oklahoma bacon cheeseburger. Instead of soft drinks, guests have several from-scratch beverage options all with free refills, including the lavender lemonade, watermelon fresca, and Native iced teas. Native Foods also offers a selection of local beers (including gluten-free options) and vegan wine.

There are currently two other locations of Native Foods Cafe in Colorado, one in the City Set development in Glendale, and another on 29th Street in Boulder.
