Hindustani Music; Chocolate Festival; Bad Apple Dinner

BOULDER— Tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha will host a live music event in its taproom. The eclectic sounds of newly formed group Delhi Billi will be featured, showcasing a Western approach to traditional Hindustani music, while utilizing instruments like the sitar and tabla. The venue is one of five kombucha taprooms in the world, with flights and growlers also available.

NORTH DENVER— The seventh annual Colorado Chocolate Festival begins tonight at 4 p.m. at the Denver Merchandise Mart, and continues Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the docket for the event are live demos, chocolate and beer pairing classes, and competitions like a Hershey's Kisses-eating showdown. LOHI— On Saturday, May 10 bad APPLE, a pop-up restaurant from chefs Jon Mendoza and Jamey Freeman, will host a dinner at 7:30 p.m. at Black Eye Coffee. The seven-course meal will include dishes that draw on unique combinations like radish, popcorn, black cocoa and mint. Tickets cost $85 and are available for purchase here.
