Last week, Williams & Graham bartender Chad Michael George shared a perplexing Yelp review of the LoHi speakeasy on social media. Following suit, Stuart Jensen, a bartender at Green Russell, has also taken to Facebook to reveal another gem of a review. So what kind of description did the subterranean Larimer Square spot earn?
The Yelp reviewer enjoyed the "really cool atmosphere," but things got off track with the mention of "karaoke on Monday's and live band karaoke on Wednesday's [sic]." Apparently at this version of Green Russell there's also a "'wheel of fortune' on the wall" that is spun every 15 minutes to "discover what the drink special will be for the next 15 minutes $5 car bombs, $2 beers, etc."
The sheer inaccuracy mirrors the Williams & Graham review, with Jensen even tagging George on his Facebook post and jokingly asking, "Chad Michael George, are you behind this?" The post naturally sparked a string of sarcastic commentary, with one person asking, "Exactly how drunk are these people getting?"
