Lunch, Brunch, or Dinner: Father's Day Special Events

For a casual lunch with Dad, Larkburger is offering all dads a free burger on Sunday, June 15. All they need to do is come in with a family member. The offer is good at every Larkburger location.

EDGE at the Four Seasons is offering a Father's Day Brunch Special for $19. Dad can get the steak & eggs -- poached eggs, with thinly sliced steak, Texas Toast, Edge Steak sauce Hollandaise, and crispy onions. A prime rib dinner special is also offered for $48. The third 2014 FIVE dinner will take place on Sunday, June 15 at Table 6 starting at 6 p.m. The theme? Dude food for all the dads out there. There will be a cocktail reception followed by a five-course wine dinner created by the five chefs, along with wine pairings by Travis Plakke and Brian Smith. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online.

At 6:30 p.m. on Father's Day, Humbolt will host a wine dinner with Ken Forester Winery. Winemaker Ken Forrester will be on hand to discuss his South African wines, which will be paired with chef DJ Nagle's five-course menu. The menu begins with an oyster reception, followed by cauliflower risotto & sweet pea-peeky toe crab salad, roasted mushroom pain perdu, squab breast with confit wheatberry salad, and a lemon olive oil cake, all paired with Ken Forrester selections.
