Just in time for the summer heat, Fior di Latte opened its new brick and mortar gelateria on Pearl Street in Boulder. There are authentic Italian pastries, killer espressos, and the star of the show: the outrageous gelato that husband and wife team Bryce Licht and Giulia De Meo create fresh from the best ingredients.

Bryce is a Denver native and Giulia is Italian and was born in Venice. Fior di Latte came to life because of this duo's passion for gelato and their desire to bring it to the people of Boulder. Which is exactly what is happening now at 1433 Pearl Street in a space neighboring the popular Illegal Pete's.

The couple began making gelato over a year ago and sold it at markets and several restaurants. At the Boulder Farmers Market, this gelateria charmed customers with a Southern Italian spin on an ice cream sandwich, where gelato is tucked inside a sweet brioche bun and then grilled on a special panini press.

Fior di Latte will host a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, June 18. For more information, call 720.443.3467.
