Denver Deep Dish Coming To The Highland

Denver Deep Dish, the pizza joint located in the back of Bar Cart on Colorado Boulevard, will open a second location in the Highland. This second outpost will operate at 1200 West 38th Avenue on the corner of 38th and Kalamath.

Jason McGovern, originally from Tennessee with Irish roots, founded Denver Deep Dish in 2008 because he saw a need for traditional deep dish pizza in the Mile High City. The offerings at his pizzeria go beyond the Chicago-style pies and include everything from salads to meatball sliders, hot dogs, and grinders.

The announcement came on the pizzeria's Facebook page and it included this:

We are very excited to start serving LoHi, Downtown, Sunnyside, and the Highlands neighborhood our delicious Chicago style deep dish and thin crusts pizzas. We will also be bringing back a neighborhood favorite. More details to come.

Thanks for all your support and help all these years and we will have updates as the new location progresses.
