Construction Watch: Max's Wine Dive

Construction is moving forward at Max's Wine Dive, which will occupy the former Colorado Lace building at 696 Sherman St. once it opens. Originally announced back in October and granted a liquor and cabaret license in January, the Denver location was among several outposts of the Texas-based "gourmet comfort food" concept to open in 2014. Though it remains to be seen how the wine-and-dive theme plays out here, a peek at the menu in Dallas reveals dishes like fried chicken, short ribs and mac and cheese. Stay tuned for updates.
