The District Will Open This Week In Uptown

The District, a new American restaurant, will open in an expansive space in Uptown at 1320 E 17th Street. The spot, which previously housed a jewelry design center, was meant to be a Vietnamese restaurant, but efforts to get that business off the ground failed and the finished space sat empty for nearly two years.

Now, Tim Kozak, a chef new to Denver, is manning the stove and a team of seasoned industry professionals and business-savvy owners is getting the eatery ready for guests later this week. Kozak promises to carve his own culinary niche and to make nearly evertything in house. The District will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and it will offer an anytime menu, a lunch menu, a dinner menu and a weekend brunch. More details will follow.
