LODO— The official grand opening celebration of the newly renovated Union Station will be Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free street festival will feature food trucks, vendors, family activities and live music from Rachel and the Kings at 10:45 a.m., Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers at 12:30 p.m. and the Railbenders at 2 p.m. An official opening ceremony is set for noon, and tickets will be issued for station building access between noon and 8 p.m. Time-stamped tickets are available online now for a $1 processing fee, allowing you to choose an entry time.
RINO— River North Brewery is set to release its first cocktail barrel-aged bottle on Saturday, July 26. Grand Unified Theory, an imperial witbier aged in Boulevardier cocktail barrels, will debut at 1 p.m. in the River North taproom. Straight bourbon whiskey, sweet vermouth and bitter orange liqueur give the beer a spicy citrus note to complement a robust wheat backbone. LONGMONT— Boulder County Farmers' Markets is launching a brand-new concept on Sunday, July 27 called "Farm-to-Neighborhood," focused on bringing neighbors together with fresh food and growers from their community. Boulder County Farmers' Markets will partner with local chefs and producers to bring healthy and affordable family-style meals to neighborhoods in Boulder County. The first Farm-to-Neighborhood dinner is set for Sunday evening in the Meadowview West neighborhood of Longmont.
