Next month, another new restaurant (and another ampersand) is coming to Denver. Milk & Honey Bar Kitchen, an upscale tavern concept, is opening in mid-September and will occupy the space at 1414 Larimer Street, the former longtime location of Lime.
Chef Michael Shiell is the owner and the man behind the concept. He brings years of experience from Michael's Cherry Creek, a fine-dining establishment in Cherry Creek that was open until 2000.
Expect upscale yet approachable cuisine, with dishes like foie gras bon bons, root vegetable fricassee with tarragon fondue, and roast monkfish.
Milk & Honey's bar program will offer classic cocktails, champagne cocktails, craft beers, and an extensive wine selection. A private wine room, which diners can reserve, will offer 55 options .
