The second iteration of ViewHouse is opening its doors today in Centennial at 7101 South Clinton Street. Sprawled over 20,000 square feet inside and 10,000 feet of outdoor space in a location that housed the iconic Traildust Steakhouse until 2009, the brand new restaurant and bar brings several new things to the area. There are private party and event spaces, a two-story dining room, and a tavern which features a large bar and a 200" TV - the largest in any bar or restaurant in Colorado.
A highlight and point of consistency with the original ViewHouse in Ballpark is the views. From the DTC spot, guests can enjoy sweeping views stretching of the Front Range, from Wyoming to Pikes Peak. The similarities end quickly, however, as this location aims to cater to a more sophisticated audience.
In addition to private event space, the DTC location offers a fancier dining menu — think fire-grilled premium steaks, crab cakes, grilled artichokes, coconut shrimp, a variety of fish, and more. The separate dining room, away from the bar and lacking TVs, gives guests a more traditional dining experience.
While at ViewHouse Ballpark, there are only two outdoor spaces (The Green, and the rooftop), the DTC location has a half dozen outdoor spaces including private patios, elevated decks, the ground floor green area and a balcony that runs the length of the building with views of the entire Front Range.
Another highlight: ViewHouse DTC will host a weekly live music series that will be kicked off today by local favorite, The Samples.
The restaurant and bar wil serve lunch and dinner daily, as well as brunch on the weekend.
