DENVER BOTANIC GARDENS – On Thursday, August 7 from 6 to 9 p.m., Unwind is holding a summer celebration focused on all things water. The event, titled Unwind: H20, takes place at Denver Botanic Gardens and will highlight the Chihuly artwork waterways, including Float Boats and Turquoise Reeds. Tickets are $50 per person ($45 for members), and include a seafood-themed dinner, water bar and Stranahan's Signature Peach Tea (while supplies last). Special water-themed entertainment will also be provided, and participants will be encouraged to wander the Gardens and experience the Chihuly exhibit in its entirety. BOULDER - On Thursday, August 7, Growing Gardens and Michael Montgomery, chef instructor at the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, are partnering up once again to offer a hands-on garden-to-table cooking class in Boulder. In addition to things like basic knife skills and intuitive cooking, fall classes will also teach pickling and preserving, cheese making, cooking from the garden, and bread making. CHERRY CREEK — The sixth annual Cherry Creek North Food & Wine event will be Saturday, August 9 from 6 to 9:30 p.m., with VIP entry at 5 p.m. Taking place at Fillmore Plaza between 1st and 2nd avenues, attendees will be able to taste offerings from more than 20 Cherry Creek North establishments, including Harman's Eat & Drink, True Food Kitchen, and Second Home. There will also be Robert Mondavi wines, Crafthouse cocktails, and Stella Artois beer, along with live music. Tickets cost $60 for general admission and $80 for VIP, available online.

BOULDER – On Saturday, August 9 at 5 p.m., Growing Gardens is sponsoring the 15th Annual Cultiva Farm Dinner in Boulder, an outdoor five-course dinner prepared by local chefs in support of the Cultiva Youth Project.
