Heroes Like Us Presents Hoofin It, a Culinary Tour

For four nights from Sunday, August 17 through Wednesday, August 20, diners will have a chance to partake in Hoofin It, a guided culinary tour through a different neighborhood each night. The farm-to-table experience will feature food made from a different hoofed animal each evening, highlighting four stops on the walking route.

The event is the result of a collaboration among the Mile High Business Alliance, Imbibe Denver, and Heroes Like Us, a nonprofit organization of chefs and others that supports culinary-based fundraisers and raises awareness of childhood hunger issues.

"As restaurant owners we are committed to serving food that's responsibly sourced from humane ranchers," says chef Jensen Cummings, founder of Heroes Like Us. "Hoofin It supports local businesses and allows attendees to explore a new culinary experience in the city they call home."

The neighborhoods to be explored include Uptown, LoDo, LoHi, and Ballpark. Depending on the night, dishes will center on bison, pig, cow, or sheep. Tickets cost $60 for each tour and include food and drink pairings at each restaurant stop, with start times at 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30 p.m. For reservations and more details, visit Hoofin It.
