Roasted chestnuts, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato, pickled cabbage and sour cherries, squash and figs and apples are making a statement on the new menu launching today at Old Major. And the chill in the air confirms it: It's fall.
Beyond comforting vegetables that round out a variety of new plates, chef Justin Brunson is bringing game to this new menu. Elk, pheasant, and rabbit make up three of the dishes that will be served starting tonight at dinner.
"I wanted to try new things this time around," says Brunson. "Pheasant is something I really wanted to put on there. Maybe we'll do goose for the next menu, one that we'll launch before the holidays. We'll see what our guests think of the pheasant."

This is the eleventh menu served at the LoHi restaurant that opened in February of 2013. The kitchen overhauls its food selection every couple of months as seasons change and different food product becomes available.
