HIGHLANDS - Cask and Craft, a new wine and beer shop in the Highland neighborhood, is now open for business. The store's mission is to provide the selection of a premium wine and beer retailer with the welcoming atmosphere of a wine bar. Cask and Craft will be open Monday through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. Free tastings will take place on Fridays between 3 and 7 p.m. and Saturdays between 2 and 7 p.m. The store is located at 3744 Tejon Street. TELLURIDE - The 21st Annual Telluride Blues & Brews festival is returning on September 12, 13, and 14. BALLPARK - On September 16, the World of Taste series of classes continues at Cook Street with a class on New American cuisine. Students will learn to seamlessly meld together a veritable melting pot of culinary influences to create truly memorable and delicious meals.
