Justin Cucci Will Open Another Restaurant in LoHi

New, 1 comment

South of his popular Linger eatery, restaurateur Justin Cucci will open a new concept in mid-2015. The new spot will be housed in a 2,700 square foot space located on the top, fifth floor, of a brand new development. The restaurant will showcase unobstructed eastern views of downtown Denver from a large open-air patio. This will join the portfolio of Edible Beats concepts Cucci owns, including Root Down and Root Down DIA. He is also in the process of opening Vital Root in Berkeley.

The rest of the new 23,0000 square foot building located at 2930 Umatilla will be occupied by office tenants and another restaurant, Mizu. This contemporary Japanese eatery will be housed on a split-level 4,000 square foot space on portions of the first and second stories of the building. Mizu will feature a full sushi bar and lounge, will feature indoor/outdoor space on both floors, several water features, and a distinct dining space and bar/lounge.

The team behind this new mixed use development is Denver-based Gravitas Development Group, who is also responsible for the swanky shipping container complex that houses Work & Class, Huckleberry Roasters, and Cart Driver in RiNo.
