Gluten-Free Dinner at Lower 48; Beer Madness; More

BALLPARK - On Wednesday, September 3, Lower48 will partner with Kim & Jake's Cakes for a special evening of great food, drink, and baked goods — all to raise awareness for Celiac Disease. Chefs Alex Figura and Jake Rosenbarger (diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2012) are collaborating on a special a la carte menu that is entirely gluten-free. The menu format at the Ballpark restaurant will remain the same — offering "Each," "Small," and "Large" plates — but every dish will be gluten-free. Cocktails, wine and even gluten-free beer will also be available. RINO - Tickets for the Beers Made by Walking Festival will be available for purchase starting September 3 at noon. Now in it's fourth year, the event — scheduled for October 3 at Wynkoop Brewery — showcases 30 place-based beers to the countless beer lovers that will be gathered in Denver for the Great American Beer Festival. CONGRESS PARK— The end-of-summer event in the Denver Botanic Gardens' "Unwind" after-hours series will be on Thursday, September 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees will enjoy live music and dance lessons, as well as a traditional barbecue with burgers, beer and a sparkling sorbet bar.
