BALLPARK - At Cook Street's Pickles, Conserves, and Preserves class, which takes place on September 23 from 6 to 9:30 p.m., learn the difference between preserves, chutneys, jams, confits, and conserves; how to preserve vegetables using vinegar, brine, and sugar; how to store preserves; and everything you need to know about pickles. ELYRIA-SWANSEA - Harvest Week 2014, presented by Eat Denver, starts tomorrow September 23 and runs through September 27. Dinners will take place all week and conclude with a finale brunch. Each night a group of 5+ chefs / restaurants will come together to create pop-up parties at the GrowHaus-an urban garden. All the festivities of the week go to support EatDenver and the Growhaus.
