The Rio Grande, a Colorado's homegrown restaurant group known for its casual fare and strong margaritas, opened its Frisco location. This seventh restaurant in the group is located next to the mountain town's Whole Foods Market, which claims to be the highest Whole Foods in the world.
Set in a brand new building, this location aims to tap into the laid-back mountain-going clientele. There are two large fireplaces that will warm the space and add to the distinctive mountain feel and the building's configuration allows it to go from 3,000 square feet to 7,000 square feet over two floors, depending upon seasonable demands and weather conditions.
The Rio is conveniently located off the I-70 corridor at "The Basecamp" at182 Lusher Court. The spot provides convenient access to area ski resorts including Copper, Breckenridge, Keystone and Vail. Bonus: this location offers unique menu items not available at other outposts.
