Five Missed Connections at Denver Dining Establishments

Although the dining rooms of the city are filled with many happy couples, they are also inhabited by lovesick diners looking to catch the eye of that special someone. Sometimes, these people take to Craigslist to try and find that guy or girl who they saw from across the dining room, but weren't able to muster the courage to say something to. Here now are a few restaurant missed connections - perhaps love will also be on the menu for these romantic Denverites sometime soon.

MAYBE A DRINK SOMEWHERE THAT DOESN'T HOLD TOILETS HOSTAGE?
McDonald's Colfax and Pennsylvania - 47 (Denver): "They wouldn't let you use the bathroom without purchase. I offered to buy you a drink but you passed. I kinda thought you were cute. Maybe a drink somewhere that doesn't hold toilets hostage?"

BEEN KICKING MYSELF EVERY SINCE
WholeFoods Salad Bar - m4w (Whole Foods Colorado Mills): "Saw you when at the salad bar, sat across the room from you to eat, and held the door for you when leaving. Been kicking myself ever since on this drive up 70 for not talking to you."

CURVY BUT NOT FAT
To the curvy blonde at Starbucks - you are gorgeous - m4w (Bear Creek): "I don't drink coffee, but this morning I needed some Chai Tea to start my day. I don't drink Starbucks, but this morning my normal place was way too crowded so I had no choice. I don't pay attention to the people around me - especially when standing in a Starbucks and not drinking coffee. But this morning, luck was on my side. You were just getting your drink as I walked in but you were gone by the time I realized I needed to say hello. You were early 20's, a little taller than average, curvy but not fat (chubby - but that is not the politically correct term, I know), had one pants and short sleeve shirt. That's not much of a description, I know, but I'm hoping it's enough that you realize it was you and you tell me that it was you and then you and I can meet while I drink non-coffee and you tell me all about you and drink either coffee or non-coffee."

Gorgeous waitress in the Peterson jersey at Breweria - m4w - 27 (aurora): "I don't know you're name but you were wearing the Vikings Peterson jersey and I thought you were stunning. I saw you looking at me too and quite often. If you're interested in meeting up sometime I would love to grab some drinks and get to know you. Maybe we'll hit it off; who knows?"

EYE CONTACT DURING KEG BOWLING
oktoberfest-keg bowling glances - w4m: "We kept making eye contact during keg bowling then you later ran into me and told me I was gorgeous. You were very cute and I wish we hadn't spoken so briefly. This is definitely a long shot but why not?"
