Another pizza place is on the horizon, this time in the Prospect neighborhood at 2907 Huron Street, just northwest of Coors Field and Ballpark. The second location of Pizza Pedal'r, which got its start in Winter Park three years ago, will set up shop in the enclave that has also recently welcomed Tokio, a Japanese eatery, as well as an outpost of Santiago's.
Though originally shooting for a June launch, the new targeted opening date is early October. And when Pizza Pedal'r does start welcoming diners, look for a menu of pizzas fitting the mountain biking theme. Offered in mega slices and three sizes of whole pies, combos range from the Berm—with artichoke, chicken, sundried tomatoes, and feta on a red-sauce base—to a mix of sweet Thai chile sauce, chicken, broccoli, roasted red peppers, pineapple, and cheddar for the Snowmine.
The Denver location will also see new additions to the pizza selection, and other options include chicken wings, garlic bread, and salads. With a full liquor license already approved, there are plans for bloody mary bar on the weekends, among other beverage choices.
