Yesterday, January 12, MAD Greens, the decade old locally-owned salad-centric eatery, reopened its Boulder location. A major renovation had the 1972 square foot space set at 1805 29th Street closed for a while.
The makeover includes a vibrant new interior designed to help enhance the guest experience through both functional and aesthetic improvements. Notable upgrades include the comfortable booth seating, fresh graphics, as well as new tables and chairs.
Reopening is a festive occasion focused on fit lifestyles and fresh food that will last until Friday. MAD Greens Boulder will host daily prize giveaways including Fitbit® wristbands and restaurant gift cards. Fitbit is a wearable fitness product designed to empower and inspire consumers to live healthier, more active lifestyles.
During the grand reopening event and throughout January, the Boulder location will also accept donations for Boulder's Bridge House, a local organization addressing the immediate survival needs of homeless and working poor individuals while providing resources which lead to employment, housing and personal stability. An in-store collection box will be available for the donated goods Bridge House needs most: peanut butter & jelly, ground coffee, sugar, salad dressing and winter clothing such as hats, gloves, coats, blankets and boots of all sizes. MAD Greens will also be donating salad dressing to the organization at the end of the month.
In the coming months, the store's exterior signage will also be upgraded for enhanced visibility.
