BOULDER - Think you know your Pinot Noir from your Cabernet Sauvignon? Come test your sommelier skills the last Tuesday of every month when Cured holds blind tastings in the store. The shop holds tastings - with labels - the first three Tuesdays of every month, from 4 to 7 p.m. On the last Tuesday, the shop selects the four most popular wines from previous weeks' tastings, bag up the bottles, number them, and start pouring. At the end of the tasting, the correct guesses get sorted out and one winner gets randomly drawn. The winner each week gets a bottle of house Cured red or white wine.
BALLPARK — Lower48's next Tuesday Tasting will be on January 27, giving patrons the opportunity to try eggs in a variety of ways. Tuesday Tastings involve a three course tasting by chef Alex Figura for $36/person. The option for a beverage pairing will cost an additional $21/person. Lower48's a la carte menu will also be available during the tasting. For more information, click here. For reservations, call 303.942.0262.
