BALLPARK - In the Cook Street class, "Fresh Sausage Making," participants will learn the basics of making sausage. The class is January 28 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The class will go over cutting, grinding, seasonings, stuffing and how to link and tie the sausage along with old world classics. BOULDER - Pizzeria Locale Boulder is presenting its first ever Flour + Fire Series at Pizzeria Locale in Boulder. It is a dinner series designed to showcase their pizza oven. The restaurant will expand beyond just pizza to explore traditional southern Italian cooking "al forno". There is a dinner on January 27 at 7:30, and costs $45 (includes Family Style Al Forno Menu, tax and gratuities). Seating is limited to 14 guests. For reservations, call 303.442.0608.

LOHI — Spuntino will host Festa della Stagione, its third wine dinner, on January 28. The dinner will include a five course Italian tasting, each paired with an Italian wine. DU — Boone's Tavern is hosting a whiskey vs. beer event on January 28. The event will feature a three course dinner and a generous tasting of Charbay Distillery whiskey and Bear Republic Brewing beers. Dinner is $50/person, greetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is at 7 p.m.
