Great Wine Deal at Jax; Broken Resolution Shake; More

FORT COLLINS —  Every Wednesday night at Jax Fort Collins, enjoy half off bottles of wine priced less than $50, and $25 off all bottles that are more than $50. Guests must purchase two entrees to qualify for the Wine Wednesday deal.

BALLPARK — French Classics is a class offered at Cook Street Culinary School. The class offers foundations in French cooking without the confusion or commitment. The one-day class is January 29 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Come with an appetite for French food and leave with the tricks, tips and techniques needed to whip up authentic French meals. LODO — Hopdoddy Burger Bar will feature a "Broken Resolution Shake" until February 1. The hand-spun ice cream is mixed with coffee, Tito's vodka and Patron XO Cafe. The adult shake costs $8. A non-alcoholic feature shake is also available. Both are topped with whipped cream and mocha dust.

BOTANIC GARDENS —  On January 29, learn how to create a savory salad, delicious butternut squash curry, spicy cashew veggie stir-fry, pesto and roasted veggie pizza and a dessert in a vegetarian-themed cooking class at the Botanic Gardens. The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. and is $47 or $42 for members.

SNOWMASS —  In conjunction with Aspen Outfitting Company, the Viceroy Snowmass resort offers guests a chance to go out and hunt their next meal - taking "farm-to-table" to the next level. Following a successful hunt, Viceroy Snowmass' Executive Chef Will Nolan will teach guests everything there is to know about breaking down game and preparing it for the ultimate homemade meal in the privacy of their own in-room kitchen.
