Dos Santos Reveals Renderings For Its Upcoming Spot in Uptown

The former D Bar location will receive an overhaul.

Ahead of its anticipated opening in late March or early April, Dos Santos has taken to Facebook to unveil a few visuals of what to expect for the space. Located in D Bar's former spot at 1475 East 17th Avenue, the taqueria and tequila bar will create a modern vibe. Boulder-based Arch11 has signed on to do the architecture, who also worked on Lola and Jax Fish House in Boulder and Denver, among others. Many wood elements will also be incorporated, sourced by Denver's Fin Art.

Brothers Jason and Kristopher Wallenta, who also own Kondesa in Cozumel, Mexico, are behind the casual Mexican concept. The menu will keep things short and simple, featuring tacos, snack-style shared plates called antojitos, and special guacamole, for approximately 13 items total. The beverage offerings will be Mexican-driven, mostly highlighting tequila and mezcal.
