"An education in the art of food and beer" sounds like something we can get behind. Public School on Tap is a California-based restaurant and bar concept that combines school house decor and theme with elevated pub food and a carefully selected beer list. The Denver location will open at 1601 Wewatta Street as part of the brand new 7,430 square foot development.
The concept was met with success at its locations in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Las Vegas and is seeking to expand into Denver and Atlanta next year. The food is playful and vaguely reminiscent of childhood favorites and cafeteria classics like tater tots and macaroni and cheese. The draft list is seasonal and constantly rotating through the best craft beer in the country.
School will be in session sometime in 2016.
