The staple LoHi Mexican spot Rosa Linda's will close at the end of October, Westword reported. Owned by Virgil and Rosa Linda Aguirre, the casual eatery has occupied its space at 2005 W. 33rd Avenue for three entire decades. Much has changed during that time in the neighborhood, but Rosa Linda's stayed strong and catered to a loyal audience. Now, however, the couple behind it is ready to call it quits and take a well-deserved retirement.
Along with the closure, Rosa Linda's Thanksgiving Feast for the Needy, a charitable tradition of the Aguirres, is also coming to an end. There's no news yet on what will happen to the space, but the word is that there are already interested possible tenants.
