Ella Fine Diner Quietly Stops Serving in Boulder

A sign on the door says the Boulder cafe is remodeling and a new tenant will be moving in.

Ella Fine Diner shuttered last week at its location at 1265 Alpine Avenue in Boulder. According to patrons, a sign on the door reads that the north Boulder eatery is closed for remodels but a new tenant, Scott's on Alpine, will be moving in later this month.

Ella was the brainchild of Edwin Zoe, the restaurateur behind Zoe Ma Ma. The quaint cafe opened just last year in place of the former Radda Trattoria. The neighborhood spot served three meals a day to loyal customers and will be missed. Stay tuned for further details about the new spot, Scott's on Alpine.
