Care for a dessert beer? Starting at 3 p.m. today, Dry Dock Brewing Company will tap its famed Half Moon Pumpkin beer- and this particular version of it has a dark chocolate touch.
FIRST FIRKIN FRIDAYS AT ASPEN BREWING COMPANY
On the first Friday of every month, Aspen Brewing Company will tap a special release firkin. The beers tapped will likely be one-offs of staple beers. The firkin keg will be tapped at 6 p.m. tonight and will be served until it runs out.
CARROT FEST AT BOULDER FARMERS MARKET
The Boulder Farmers Market will be celebrating the advent of fall with one quintessentially fall vegetable: the carrot. The great carrot festival will be happening tomorrow from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the farmers market and will feature a carrot tasting, a contest for the largest carrot, activities for kids, carrot face painting, cooking demonstrations, and more carrot-oriented fun.
CASEY BREWING OCTOBER BEER RELEASE
It's the first weekend of the month, and for beer-lovers that means the one day that Casey Brewing & Blending in Glenwood Springs is open for business. Tomorrow from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., the brewery will be selling Plum Fruit Stand, Nectarine Fruit Stand, Casey Family Reserve, and the East Bank Blend. Starting this month, Casey Brewing will be selling tickets to its wildly popular beer release.
10TH ANNUAL FALLING ROCK FRESH HOP FESTIVAL
Tomorrow from 12 - 4 p.m., Falling Rock Tap House will host its annual Fresh Hop Festival. The festival will showcase fresh hopped beers from Colorado and beyond. Due to the short-lived nature of fresh hopped beers, the brews served tomorrow will be as fresh as can be and particularly rare.
Denver Deep Dish in LoHi will be airing NFL games with sound this Sunday and offering some great specials as well. Enjoy breakfast pizza, bottomless bloody marys, bottomless mimosas and screwdrivers starting at 10 a.m. The Bears game will be aired at 11 a.m. followed by the Broncos game at 2 p.m.
LAWS WHISKEY HOUSE 1ST ANNIVERSARY PARTY
On Sunday, October 4 from 1 - 4 p.m., Laws Whiskey House will be celebrating its first anniversary with cocktails, local beer, live music, Steuben's food truck, and oyster shucking. The distillery will also release the anticipated Secale Rye batch #2 at the Sunday event.
There could be no better way to start your Sunday then with some sun salutations on the roof deck at Avanti. Avanti F&B and Core Power Yoga are teaming up to host this event from 10 - 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 4. The yoga class is free and Avanti invites you to linger afterwards for food and drink.
BookBar on Tennyson Street will be partaking in First Friday festivities with an expansion party. The literary-themed bar will host the party from 6 - 8 p.m. tonight and it will include passed hors d'oeuvres and cupcakes, champagne, and fireside literary trivia.
