The Stay Awhile News: One reviewer of Bar Fausto used adjectives like "dreamy" and "lovely" while describing Bar Fausto's food and drink and decided to stay awhile: "Cool space. 80's music. Or soul. Good music. Good. Happy hour. All good. Daily bruschetta was dreamy. Golden beets rule. Small menu. Real small. But maybe just for starters- remember just ten days old. Farro salad was nice, chewy good, but overdressed a bit. Get the dressing on the side. The oysters were lovely. Nice place. Welcome. Stay a while." [Zomato]
The #9 News: The #9 on Bar Fausto's cocktail menu is making big internet waves amongst multiple reviewers. One Yelper says: "We sat at the bar and got to watch the bartender make some pretty crazy concoctions. I settled on the #9 which consisted of Plantation Rum, Smith & Cross Rum, Carpano Anitica, Rammazatti, Orange Bitters, and Barrel Aged Underberg. It is so uncommon to see a drink focusing on the characters of rum. Typically it is so much about the mixers. Not this drink. It truly focused on the delicious vanilla, oaky flavors of the rum. God, it was good. Rum is underrated. This cocktail was better than anything I've ever had at Williams & Graham or Green Russell." [Yelp]
The Hot News: Zagat recently included Bar Fausto on its coveted list of "Denver's 10 Hottest New Restaurants." [Zagat]
The Cool Kids News: Thrillist added Bar Fausto to its list of "Denver's 11 Best New Bars," proclaiming: "As two of RiNo’s foremost tastemakers, The Populist’s Jonathan Power and Huckleberry Roasters’ Koan Goedman are the kind of guys whose cool you wish you could bottle. But at least you can soak it up in an evening at their new joint venture. Looking all the slicker for its lack of finish, this much-awaited watering hole operates with the streamlined ease you’d expect from the right place at the right time." [Thrillist]
The Nothing Negative News: It was tough to find negative reviews on Bar Fausto: "Amazing. The #11 summer cocktail is to die for. #4 was also spectacular. The salumi, market fish, and grilled peach bruschetta were delicious. Nothing negative to say. Great night out." [Foursquare]
The Stick in the Mud News: One reviewer found the RiNo bar overpriced and stuffy: "Boring.. prices are high, some bartenders are stick in the muds, and nothing exciting about the decor. I have visited two times... two times too many. Thanks, but no thanks." [Yelp]
